The activities and stresses of our daily lives can often lead to tight & reduced range of motion in our hips. The ‘hip joint’ is a ball-and-socket joint, which means that it’s designed to have a big range of motion (like the shoulder joint). If our joints are designed this way then it is for a reason - because we need it to keep going through life and age in a gracious way.
In this workshop we will work on stabilising and increasing mobility in all of the movements of the hips, including the IT bands, glutes, psoas, hamstrings and quads. We’ll start the workshop with some yin poses to soften and surrender and then continue with a heated vinyasa practice focusing on stabilising and mobilising the hips.
